Work Skills

Hands-on repetitive training, helping to instill strong, relevant work skills. We also work to improve soft skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Community Activities

Age and skill appropriate activities including eating in public restaurants. Individuals will be made aware of local community resources and will be integrated into their local community.

Social Preparedness

We will concentrate on helping individuals strengthen their social skills to help prepare them for the workplace. This can include finding employment.

Safety Skills

Recognizing safety signs, street, and parking lot safety. Emergency fire, earthquake, disaster safety and interpersonal skills involving strangers are priority topics.

Enrichment Activities

Music & Performing Arts

Once a year Care-Rite participants and volunteers from our community come together and put on a musical production. Preparing for this beloved event helps build upon teamwork skills, and also verbal/non-verbal communication. Performing and participating fosters an environment that encourages self expression and enhances self esteem.

Community Immersion

To create and foster a sense of community we constantly are keeping involved in our local community and arranging activities as a family. We all come together once a month for Advocacy Meetings where we meet, celebrate, share, and catch up as a whole. We are also involved with Habitat for Humanity to keep giving back and helping others.

Health & Wellness

Being educated about health and wellness is extremely important and adds to your quality of life. We encourage group activities like community walks, team sports, and learning about nutrition. There are also preferred vendor courses like golf instruction, dance classes, and ASL.

Local Extracurricular Activities

We encourage our individuals to be active in their local community and get involved. We will keep you updated about local events in Temecula, Fallbrook, and the surrounding areas. Some of the local programs our individuals like to participate in are the Special Olympics and High Hopes.
